Wendy Conner is a full-time, professional REALTOR® since 1998 with a solid background in marketing and advertising. Specializing in the Northern Shenandoah Valley, Wendy is an expert in the sale and marketing of homes in the Strasburg, Shenandoah, Frederick and Warren County areas.
Personal Information
A native of Texas, Wendy was raised in Staunton and has lived in Strasburg since 1988. Married and the mother of two, she is acutely aware of the services and benefits available to families in the area and has a unique "insider's perspective" on the Northern Shenandoah Valley. Augmenting her personal experience and long-time residency is Wendy's education. She is a graduate of Travel and Tourism School in Staunton where she learned the art of convention planning and management. "Even though the sale and purchase of a home doesn't involve quite as many people as a convention, it does require considerable planning," says Wendy. "The attention to detail and management skills required to produce a successful convention can also be used to produce a successful real estate transaction." Wendy's clients will testify to the fact that nothing slips through the cracks in Wendy's transactions and that everything proceeds smoothly due to her excellent managerial ability. When not serving her clients, Wendy enjoys hiking, motorcycle riding and spending time with her family.
Memberships
Wendy is a member of MRIS® the Blue Ridge Board of REALTORS® and the Massanutten Association of REALTORS®. She has served as secretary for the Massanutten Board of Realtors for 1999 and 2000. Wendy has been voted Sales Associate of the Year 2002 and 2007 by the Massanutten Association as well as receiving Outstanding Sales Club and Presidents Club Awards since 1998. In 2007 she was named a Gold Member to the President's Club and received the President's Sales Award for 2009. Wendy currently serves on the Policy and Procedures Committee for the Blue Ridge Association of REALTORS®. She is also active with the Virginia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate.
Continuing Education
Wendy is continually taking education classes to further her knowledge of the Real Estate business. In 2003 Wendy obtained her Broker´s license & is the Managing Broker/Owner Partner of Skyline Team Real Estate. She has received her ABR designation (Accredited Buyer Representative) and also her GRI designation. GRI stands for Graduate of the Realtor Institute and it is one of the most difficult to receive designations. It involves taking 12 all day classes from all around the state. Wendy also has received her SFR, Short Sales and Foreclosures Resources certification in 2010.

Wendy possesses a strong work ethic and a solid sense of integrity. She believes in making her clients the top priority in a transaction and will work to ensure that they are completely happy at the close of escrow. "Buying or selling a home is a major decision for most people," says Wendy. "I know that it's important for them to know what is happening every step of the way so I make myself very accessible.
